Some believe the magnet system and internal bearings put too much stress on the casing, which could shorten the product’s lifespan. A sturdier material like nylon or metal would make this device more reliable for the long run.

Overall Experience

The SwitchBot Curtain 3 has made my home smarter in a very practical way. Automatic curtain control has added comfort, impressed guests, and made my daily routine smoother. While there are areas where the design could be stronger, especially for heavy curtains and cheaper rails, my experience has been mostly positive. It’s a gadget I’d recommend to anyone looking to motorize curtains without replacing their whole setup.
